A Cool Breeze and a To-Do List 🍂

Early FallEvery so often in August, the air shifts. The heat loosens its grip, and a cool spell drifts in, carrying with it a whisper of fall. It’s like nature’s little reminder that summer doesn’t last forever—and that the seasons are already turning.

For me, those cooler mornings are an invitation. The rake comes out, the hedges get trimmed, and I find myself eyeing the gutters and the garden beds. There’s something satisfying about getting a head start on fall chores while the sun is softer and the air feels kinder.

What used to feel like “work” now feels like preparation. Clearing leaves, tidying the yard, or even just sweeping the porch—it all becomes part of a rhythm that connects me to the seasons. And there’s comfort in that.

The older I get, the more I appreciate these simple transitions. They remind me that time moves steadily on, that change is natural, and that there’s peace to be found in keeping pace with it.

So if you find yourself waking up to one of those rare August mornings where the air feels crisp, grab your coffee, step outside, and let the breeze guide you into the season ahead.
